Das Institut für Management und Controlling der WHU ist ein führender Think Tank im Bereich Controlling und Unternehmenssteuerung. Unter der Leitung von Prof. Dr. Lukas Löhlein, Prof. Dr. Marko Reimer und Prof. Dr. Utz Schäffer bündelt das Institut die zahlreichen Forschungs-, Lehr- und Praxisaktivitäten der beteiligten Hochschullehrer, Mitarbeiter und Doktoranden.
Ihre Aufgaben
Sie werden Teil eines kleinen, engagierten Teams, welches die Zusammenarbeit mit unseren Partnerunternehmen aus dem DAX40 begleitet und mit eigenen Impulsen vorantreibt.
Sie arbeiten an der inhaltlichen Konzeption und Durchführung von gemeinsamen Veranstaltungen (Workshops, Konferenzen, Seminare, Round Tables).
Sie übernehmen die (Teil-)Projektverantwortung für die Konzeption, Durchführung und Auswertung von Studien zu aktuellen Themen (etwa die Integration von Nachhaltigkeitsaspekten in die Unternehmenssteuerung).
Über die Zeit gewinnen Sie tiefe Einblicke in die Unternehmenspraxis, bauen Expertise zu den jeweiligen Themen auf und wirken ggf. auch an Publikationen mit.
Ihr Profil
Sie verfügen über ein abgeschlossenes Hochschulstudium, idealerweise in Betriebswirtschaftslehre oder verwandten Fächern (gerne auch mit Berufserfahrung).
Sie arbeiten sich schnell in neue Themen ein und am Puls der Zeit zu bleiben, macht Ihnen Spaß.
Sie denken analytisch, bringen komplexe Sachverhalte auf den Punkt und sind kommunikationsstark.
Sie treiben Projekte eigenständig voran, finden aber auch gerne im Team die beste Lösung.
Sie sind ein (Selbst-)Organisationstalent.
Sie verfügen über hervorragende Englisch- und Deutschkenntnisse und solide Expertise in MS Powerpoint, Excel und Word.

The Institute of Management Accounting and Control of WHU is a leading think tank in the area of management accounting and control. Under the joint directorship of Professor Lukas Löhlein, Professor Marko Reimer and Professor Dr. Utz Schäffer, the institute bundles the numerous teaching and research activities of the associated professors and doctoral students.
Your mission
You will be part of a small and dedicated team that accompanies the cooperation with our partner companies from the DAX40 and drives it forward with own stimuli.
You will work on the content-related conceptualization and implementation of events (workshops, conferences, seminars, round tables).
You will assume (partial) project responsibility for the conceptualization, implementation, and analysis of surveys on current topics (e.g., on the integration of sustainability aspects in management control).
Over time you will gain deep insights into corporate practice, establish expertise, and contribute to publishing self-generated study results.
Your profile
You have an academic degree, ideally in business studies or related disciplines (preferably, but not necessarily with work experience).
You can quickly become competent in new topics, and having your finger on the pulse of time is a must for you.
You think analytically, are able to break down complex matters, and have excellent communication skills.
You advance projects independently but also like to find the best course of action in a team.
Your (self-)organizational skills are extraordinary.
Your English and German language skills are excellent, and your expertise in MS Powerpoint, Excel, and Word is solid.
