We are looking for a dedicated professional (f/m/d) to join our Accounting team from January 1, 2027, with a focus on travel expenses and the opportunity to take on additional financial accounting responsibilities over time. The position can be based at either our Düsseldorf campus or our headquarters in Vallendar.

General information
Your mission
- Advising our employees on all matters relating to business travel and travel expenses
- Reviewing, assigning account codes to, and posting travel expense claims in accordance with tax regulations and internal policies
- Actively contributing to the selection, implementation, and ongoing development of a new business travel booking solution
- Supporting the digitalization and continuous improvement of our expense reimbursement processes
- Assisting with month-end and year-end closing activities
- Gradually taking on additional responsibilities in financial accounting, which may include assisting with periodic VAT returns, tax returns, and the documentation of tax-related processes
Your profile
- Completed vocational training in business administration or taxation, for example as a tax clerk, or an equivalent qualification
- Ideally, professional experience in travel expense accounting, financial accounting, or tax advisory services
- Knowledge of travel expense and VAT regulations would be an advantage
- An interest in developing your knowledge of tax matters and gradually taking on additional responsibility
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central would be an advantage
- Experience with digital expense management systems is desirable
- A meticulous, structured, and reliable approach to work
- A strong service orientation and good German and English language skills
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel
