The Institute of Management Accounting and Control (IMC) of WHU is a leading think tank in the area of management accounting and control. Under the joint directorship of Prof. Lukas Löhlein, Prof. Marko Reimer and Prof. Utz Schäffer, the institute bundles the numerous teaching and research activities of the associated professors and doctoral students. 

This Part-time-position (50-60%) is initially a one-year fixed-term contract with the potential to become extended or permanent.

Your mission

  • As a member of our Office Management Team, you will provide reliable, proactive, and professional administrative support to our senior faculty across a wide range of organizational tasks.
  • You will keep track of the Institute’s diverse activities and ensure smooth coordination of day-to-day operations.
  • You will coordinate appointments and manage business travel, including travel arrangements and expense reimbursements.

Your profile

  • A professional and confident demeanour with a very good command of German and English is essential.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills, coupled with a high degree of independence and team spirit.
  • High level of self-motivation, flexibility and commitment.
  • Very good user knowledge of Microsoft Office 365.
