This position is initially a one-year fixed-term contract with the potential to become extended or permanent.
Your mission
You act as the central orchestration layer between strategy and execution ensuring that transformation initiatives are translated into structured, actionable, and deliverable projects, particularly at the intersection with IT and our study programs. You connect the dots & people across the organization: bringing together the right people, topics, and perspectives to move cross-functional initiatives forward.

- Lead end-to-end project management of strategic and digital initiatives that support WHU’s future readiness and the implementation of its mission and vision
- Translate strategic priorities into clear requirements, project roadmaps, and measurable outcomes
- Drive cross-functional transformation projects, especially at the intersection of strategy, culture and digitalization
- Act as the central interface between Strategy & Transformation and IT, translating strategic ideas into testable concepts and tangible solutions in close collaboration with IT
- Establish, develop, and maintain PMO standards, governance, and reporting
- Monitor progress, risks, dependencies, and resource allocation with a strong focus on execution quality
- Ensure stakeholder buy in, ongoing engagement, and alignment across functions and seniority levels
Your profile
- Strong experience in project management, including managing complex setups and diverse stakeholder groups
- Proven ability to bridge business and IT, translating strategic ideas into clear requirements, testable concepts, and tangible solutions
- Solid understanding of digital topics, solution design, and development processes, without needing to be a technical expert
- Ability to translate complexity into structured plans, priorities, and actionable next steps
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with confidence operating across functions and seniority levels
