General information

WHU is seeking a full-time Video Project Manager (f/m/d) to join its internal Creative Media Unit, based in either Vallendar or Düsseldorf, effective immediately. As part of the WHU Marketing department, the Creative Media Unit conceptualizes, organizes, and produces content for marketing and sales purposes. In doing so, we collaborate with both internal and external partners. Our content targets a wide range of diverse audiences. 

This position is initially a one-year fixed-term contract with the potential to become extended or permanent.

Your mission

  • Developing video content on a conceptual and visual level
  • Briefing and consulting on video ideas with our stakeholders, e.g. study programs
  • Planning and executing of projects from first idea to final approval
  • Keeping a good overview on simultaneously running projects
  • Communicating and organising with our external freelancers and agencies
  • If necessary hands-on filming and editing of video projects

Your profile

  • Academic degree or equivalent education/qualification in the field of media (ideally with audiovisual context)
  • Solid experience in creating video and animation concepts as well as practice in Adobe software
  • Experience in editorial work and/or video production management is of advantage
  • Creative, open-minded personality with a „thinker and doer” approach
  • A good feeling for design, trends, and technological development
  • Strong communication skills in English and German
