General information

The Examination Office in the Bachelor & Master department accompanies students throughout their entire academic journey – from their first weeks of lectures through to graduation and beyond. Acting as a central point of coordination, the Examination Office ensures that examination-related processes run smoothly, transparently, and in compliance with academic regulations.

The Bachelor program provides a solid foundation in business administration while the Master programs build on this foundation and allow for further specialization in more focused areas of management. The working languages are English and German. You will be part of a small, dedicated team working closely with students, faculty members, and academic leadership.

This part-time position (78% = 30 hours per week) is initially a one-year fixed-term contract with the potential to become extended or permanent.

Your mission

  • Advising and supporting students on all examination and assessment-related matters throughout their academic journey
  • Administratively managing key academic milestones and formal requirements, including examinations, final theses, internships, and related documentation; generating the final degree certificates
  • Providing administrative support to examiners and other stakeholders in the planning, implementation, and documentation of assessments
  • Organizing and facilitating study-related processes in the Bachelor’s and Master’s programs from a backend and systems perspective
  • Maintaining, managing, and ensuring the quality of assessment and examination-related data and documentation
  • Ensuring compliance with examination regulations, deadlines, and internal guidelines
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of processes, with a focus on digitalization and automation

Your profile

  • University degree or comparable qualification in a relevant field (e.g. administration, higher education management, business or social sciences)
  • Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken
  • Ability to work independently in a structured, precise, and reliable manner, including with complex regulations and processes
  • Strong service-oriented and solution-focused mindset when interacting with students and faculty
  • Very good command of MS Office (especially Word, Excel, and Outlook)
  • Experience with or strong willingness to learn digital tools and automation solutions (e.g. Microsoft Power Automate)
  • Experience with campus management systems and/or learning management systems is a plus
  • Strong sense of responsibility, team spirit, and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a dynamic working environment
