We are looking for a Learning Innovation Manager (m/f/d) to lead the strategic and operational development of innovative, technology-supported learning experiences across our campuses.

Your mission

You will… 
  • … conceptualize and contribute to the continuous development of WHU’s learning and teaching environments, integrating pedagogy and AI
  • … develop and implement innovative teaching and learning formats, with a focus on AI-enabled education and human-AI collaboration
  • … collaborate closely with faculty and program directors 
  • … drive the development of AI-native course components, such as AI co-pilots for assignments, virtual teaching assistants, and intelligent feedback systems embedded into core business courses
  • … co-create with faculty a library of reusable AI prompts, agents, and micro-tools tailored to WHU courses 
  • … integrate AI into experiential learning (consulting projects, incubators, labs) 
  • … design and deliver faculty development formats (e.g., workshops, training sessions) on AI, digital pedagogy, and effective use of learning technologies
  • … build strategic partnerships with edtech, AI vendors, and corporate partners to co-develop future skills programs, micro-credentials, and stackable learning experiences.

Your profile

You have… 
  • …a high interest in AI-supported learning solutions
  • …a proven track record in designing and implementing custom GPTs, AI agents, or intelligent learning assistants to enable personalized and interactive learning experiences
  • …a degree or training in informatics, media design, or a comparable field
  • … strong communication skills in both written and spoken English and German
  • … the ability to work independently and you are committed to delivering high-quality results.
We welcome proficiency in Learning Management Systems (e.g., Moodle), Campus Management Systems (e.g., academyFIVE), and a high affinity for modern technologies.
