Der Lehrstuhl für Entrepreneurship, Innovation und Technological Transformation sucht Bewerber für eine 70 %-Stelle als Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter/Doktorand (w/m/d) am WHU-Campus Vallendar (Ab sofort). In dieser Position werden Sie in erster Linie als festes Mitglied des Kernteams des Entrepreneurship Centers der WHU tätig sein und dessen Initiativen aktiv mitgestalten.
Ihre Aufgaben
Sie führen Forschungsaktivitäten zum Thema datengetriebenes Unternehmertum durch
Sie haben die Möglichkeit, am Lehrstuhl für Entrepreneurship, Innovation und Technologietransfer zu promovieren
Ihr Profil
Sie verfügen über einschlägige Erfahrung in der Unterstützung/dem Coaching von Start-up-Teams
Sie haben einen ausgezeichneten Master-Abschluss in Management, Wirtschaftspsychologie, Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen oder Datenwissenschaft und interessieren sich für das Thema Unternehmertum
Sie haben Interesse an der Anwendung von Datenanalyse, maschinellem Lernen und/oder generativer KI für Forschungsaktivitäten
Sie verfügen über mindestens grundlegende Erfahrungen mit Python oder ähnlichen Programmiersprachen
Sie haben Erfahrung mit quantitativen Forschungsmethoden (z. B. haben Sie für Ihre Masterarbeit eine quantitative Studie durchgeführt)
Sie sprechen und schreiben fließend Deutsch

General information
The Chair of Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Technological Transformation invites applications for a 70% position of Research Assistant/Doctoral Student (f/m/d) located at WHU Campus Vallendar (Starting date as soon as possible). In this role, your work placement will be primarily focused on becoming a core team member of WHU's Entrepreneurship Center, actively shaping its initiatives.
Your mission
You will conduct research activities on the topic of data-driven entrepreneurship
You have the option to conduct a PhD at the Chair of Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Technological Transformation
Your profile
You have relevant experience in supporting/coaching startup teams
You have an excellent MSc degree in Management, Business Psychology, Business Engineering, or Data Science and you are interested in the topic of entrepreneurship
You have an interest in applying data analytics, machine learning and/or generative AI for research activities
You have at least basic experience with Python or similar coding languages
You are experienced in quantitative research methods (for instance, you have conducted a quantitative study for your MSc thesis)
You are fluent in speaking and writing German
