Die Teilzeitstelle (19,25 Stunden/Woche) ist zunächst auf ein Jahr befristet, kann anschließend jedoch verlängert oder entfristet werden.
Ihre Aufgaben
Betreuung der Nachhaltigkeitsthemen an der Hochschule an der Schnittstelle zwischen Hochschulleitung, dem Sustainability Management Center sowie weiteren zentralen Abteilungen (insbesondere Campus Management)
Erhebung, Analyse und Aufbereitung von Daten zur Berechnung des CO₂-Fußabdrucks nach dem Greenhouse Gas Protocol
Mitarbeit an, perspektivisch eigenständige Erstellung von Berichten für Organisationen wie PRME oder EFMD (BSIS)
(Weiter)Entwicklung interner und externer Berichtsformate im Rahmen nationaler und internationaler Nachhaltigkeitsberichterstattung
Repräsentation der Hochschule in einschlägigen Netzwerken, Fachgesellschaften und Initiativen
Mitwirkung an der Entwicklung und Umsetzung einer Nachhaltigkeitsstrategie mit Fokus auf Dekarbonisierung – zu den Aufgaben zählen z.B.:
Entwicklung und Umsetzung von Maßnahmenprogrammen zur Erfüllung der Nachhaltigkeitsstrategie, einschließlich der Leitung von entsprechenden Projekten
Monitoring von Nachhaltigkeitskennzahlen und Steuerung der Zielerreichung
Schulung und Beratung von WHU-Angehörigen zu Nachhaltigkeitsthemen
Bereitschaft zur Unterstützung bei themenübergreifenden Aufgaben (z.B. internationalen Akkreditierungs- und Zertifizierungsverfahren)
Ihr Profil
Abgeschlossenes Hochschulstudium, idealerweise in einem einschlägigen Fachgebiet
Sehr gute Kenntnisse in der Sammlung, Analyse und Aufbereitung von Daten
Wünschenswert: Erfahrung im Nachhaltigkeitsmanagement, insbesondere im Hochschulkontext
Bereitschaft, sich in rechtliche und methodische Rahmenwerke im Bereich Nachhaltigkeit (z.B. Greenhouse Gas Protocol, CSRD, DNK) einzuarbeiten
Erfahrung im Projektmanagement und Changemanagement von Vorteil
Ausgeprägte Kommunikationsfähigkeit in deutscher und englischer Sprache
Hohe Eigeninitiative sowie Fähigkeit zu selbstständigem und strukturiertem Arbeiten

General information
This Part-time position (19,25 hours/week) is initially a one-year fixed-term contract with the potential to become extended or permanent.
Your mission
Support for sustainability topics at WHU, acting as an interface between school leadership, the Sustainability Management Center, and other central departments (in particular Campus Management)
Collection, analysis, and preparation of data to calculate the CO₂ footprint according to the Greenhouse Gas Protocol
Contribution to and, in the future, independent preparation of reports for organizations such as PRME or EFMD (BSIS)
(Further) development of internal and external reporting formats within the framework of national and international sustainability reporting
Representation of WHU in relevant networks, professional associations, and initiatives
Contribution to the development and implementation of a sustainability strategy with a focus on decarbonization – including, for example:
Development and implementation of action plans to fulfill the sustainability strategy, including project leadership
Monitoring of sustainability KPIs and management of target achievement
Training and advising WHU members on sustainability topics
Willingness to assist with cross-cutting tasks (e.g. international accreditation and certification processes)
Your profile
Completed university degree, ideally in a relevant field
Excellent skills in collecting, analyzing, and processing data
Desirable: experience in sustainability management, particularly in a higher education context
Willingness to familiarize oneself with legal and methodological frameworks in the field of sustainability (e.g. Greenhouse Gas Protocol, CSRD, DNK)
Experience in project and change management is an advantage
Strong communication skills in both German and English
High level of initiative and ability to work independently and in a structured manner
