The Institute of Management Accounting and Control (IMC) of WHU is a leading think tank in the area of management accounting and control. Under the joint directorship of Prof. Lukas Löhlein, Prof. Marko Reimer and Prof. Utz Schäffer, the institute bundles the numerous teaching and research activities of the associated professors and doctoral students.


Your mission

  • You support Utz Schäffer as a reliable and competent assistant with foresight.
  • You keep track of the institute’s wide range of activities and serve as a central point of contact for our internal and external partners.
  • You coordinate the recruitment of doctoral candidates and non-academic staff.

Your profile

  • A professional and confident demeanour with a very good command of German and English is essential.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills, coupled with a high degree of independence and team spirit.
  • High level of self-motivation, flexibility and commitment.
  • Very good user knowledge of Microsoft Office 365.
